Heat 1 63.9 Colvin, Evans, Downs, Wright 2-4 2-4
Great race by Shane Colvin as Evans tried hard to bring Wright up front with him, but unfortunate for the GMB Don Shane Colvin pulled away.

Heat 2 66.9 Cross, Geer, Clement, Theobold (En) 4-2 6-6
Great gate by both of the dons, however James Theobold also gated with the Dons and so did Chris Geer. Both Crusaders tangledup a bit and unforunate for James Theobold he lost out.

Heat 3 64.5 Hedge, Evans, Colvin, Garrod 5-1 11-7
This heat saw GMB Dons Stand in skipper for the night (due to a Broken Collar Bone for skipper Wayne Broadhusrt sustained a few days before at Sheffield) Gavin Hedge race to a fantastic heat win. Hedgie got the gate away from Colvin and Garrod,, and with Evans going with Gavin this gave the GMB Dons a 5-1.

Heat 4 63.0 Holloway, Burrows, Geer, Clement 2-4 13-11
The Sittingbourne Crusaders managed to pull back a couple of points when Malcolm Holloway shot from the gate, this was a fantastic ride by a favourite rider at the plough lane track. Although Buzz tried really hard Holloway was not going to give in.

Heat 5 65.1 Hedge, Wright, Colvin Downs 5-1 18-12
Once again the GMB Dons hit back with another fantastic win by Gavin Hedge with Hedgie holding the outside line and Wright holding the inside line there was no passing them.

Heat 6 64.0 Holloway, Evans, Wright, Theobold. 3-3 21-15
Both the GMB Dons got the gate on Holloway, however on a very hot night and a very dusty track, Holloway managed to find a line pass both the GMB Dons coming out of the second bend. Great race for Holloway.

Heat 7 64.2 Holloway, Cross, Garrod, Burrows 2-4 23-19
The GMB Dons gave a fight in this race, as both Buzz and Andre went after the fast gating Malcolm Holloway (in as a rider replacement ride for Steven Braidford), but Holloway managed to hold a great line, with Buzz trying one of his spectacular moves around the outside found tried to get Holloway and had an engine failure. Therefore leaving Cross to come 2nd behind Holloway.

Heat 8 66.5 Clement, Wright, Downs, Geer 5-1 28-20
A great ride for the GMB Dons Duo of James Clement and Matthew Wright, as Wright managed to keep Clement out in front and the two Crusaders behind him.

Heat 9 65.1 R/R Holloway, Hedge, Theobold Burrows (Fex) 2-7 30-27
This was a great  advantage to the Sittingbourne Crusaders as Malcolm Holloway was brought into this race by their manager Sean Wilkinson for a tactical ride. Holloway had been great all evening and this race was no different, as he gated fast from the gate, and with Burrows trying to do a hard ride round the outside of Holloway and hitting the deck, Holloway went on to win the race gaining the sittingbourne crusaders a good 7 points.

Heat 10 65.0 Evans, Wright, Geer, Garrod 5-1 35-28
The GMB Dons then hit back in this race as both Evans and Wright hit the front ahead of Dean Garrod and Chris Geer.

Heat 11 64.9 Burrows, Colvin, Cross, Downs 4-2 39-30
This race saw the track having been watered during the interval and the first heat win of the night for Mark BUZZ Burrows. Buzz managed to get the drop on Colvin.

Heat 12 65.2 Hedge, Clement, Geer, Theobold 4-1 44-31
This race saw yet another great preformance for Gavin Hedge, who along with Matt Wright picked up the rider of the night awards. Gavin won the race from the start and with Clement coming in behind him it gained the GMB Dons another 5-1 and ensured the GMB Dons a place in the next round of the KOCUP.

Heat 13 64.7 Evans, Burrows, Holloway, Colvin. 5-1 49-32
This race saw both the GMB Dons gate ahead of the very impressive Malcolm Holloway and Shane Colvin. This was a fine race for the GMB Dons and with Colvin in for a Tactical ride it was not a good result for him.

Heat 14 65.6 Hedge, Garrod, Geer, Cross (Fell) 3-3 52-35
This race saw Gavin Hedge once again shoot from the gate, and never look back. however with Cross falling it left the Crusaders to take a share of the points.

Heat 15 Evans, Holloway, Colvin, Hedge (Fell) 3-3 55 38
This was a great race for Evans, who shot from the gate, the impressive Gavin Hedge unfortunatley fell on the second bend, however got clear of the track to enable to race to continue giving the Crusaders 3 points.

A fine performance by the GMB Dons.
Man of the Match Gavin Hedge and Matthew Wright.

What a great night of speedway at Plough Lane, with a meeting that looked likely to be rainned off prior to the meeting. There had be a lot of rain for 2 days leading up to the meeting and about an hour before the meeting we had a few heavy showers which looked like they might put paid to us getting this meeting in. However Dingle and the track staff worked hard to ensure that this meeting went ahead, therefore with adverse weather conditions we did not have a interval tell after heat 12 when by then the GMB Dons already had the meeting in the bag. Congratulations to all riders on what was a bit of a cold and wet night.

Heat 1 J Wright, B Evans, M Wright, C Wright 61.2 (3-3)(3-3)
Good ride by C Wright who nearly did a 90 degree turn up the fence, Charles managed to hold his bike and carry on racing without any distruption to the race. James Wright shot out of the gate for the Hitmen, and recorded the fastest time of the meeting in 61.2 second.

Heat 2 J Clement, A Cross, P Sharples, A Brown 66.4 (5-1)(8-4)
Fantastic ride by james Clement and Andre cross for the GMB Dons they left the Hitmen at the back as they shot out the gate to record a 5-1 for the GMB Dons. This reserve heat is going to be a very good race with the pairing of Andre Cross and James Clement I feel that it is going to get harder for any reserve pairings to beat these two.

Heat 3 J Wright, W Broadhusrt, G Hedge, B Compton 61.6 (3-3) (11-7)
With both James Wright and Wayne Broadhurst shotting out the gate this could have been anyone's race, However James Wright rode a super line around Broadhurst to ensure that the vistors were going to get 3 points out of this race as Gavin Hedge was close in on 3rd place.

Heat 4 M Burrows, J Clement, P Burnett, P  Sharples 67.2 (5-1)(16-8)
This was a great race by the GMB Dons Duo of Mark BUZZ Burrows and James Clement, as Buzz made a fantastic gate along with James,  with James nipping into 2nd infront of Paul Burnett, Buzz held up the race to keep James up with him.

Heat 5 J Wright (T/R) G Hedge, W Broadhurst, C Wright 62.5 (3-6)(19-14)
James rode a fantastic race for the Buxton Hitmen as team Manager Jack Lee brought James out to take a tactical ride. Gavin Hedge nearly got Wright coming of the bend but James rode fantastically to keep his line to ensure that the hitmen hit back to gain 6 points.

Heat 6 B Evans, M Wright, A Brown, P Burnett 65.1 (5-1)(24-15)
The GMB Dons Duo of new signings Barrie Evans and Matt Wright are going to be a force not to be messed with as they showed that given a few more meetings together they are going to unbeatable. Barrie and Matt hit back with a 5-1 in this race over the out of touch Paul Burnett, and Alan Brown. Paul Burnett, fell during the race but remounted and continued to finish the race.

Heat 7 M Burrows, B Compton, A Cross, C Wright 65.4 (4-2)(28-17)
In this race it looked as if Buzz and Andre were onto another 5-1 for the GMB Dons. This was not going to be the case as Andre tryed to tackle Buzz, Andre lost a little bit of grip and hit a slick patch of the track which allowed Benji Compton to go through and pick up the 2 points.

Heat 8 M Wright, C Wright, J Clement, P Sharples 65.6 (4-2)(32-19)
This race saw Matt Wright win his first race of his GMB Dons Career. he rode a fantastic race to beat Charles Wright.  James Clement came in for a 3rd place point, as he did a 90 degree turn on a very slippery track. james managed to gain the 3 place point when Paul Sharples fell on the 3rd bend of the last lap.

Heat 9 G Hedge, W Broadhurst, A Brown, Paul Burnett 64.8 (5-1)(37-20)
In this race we saw the referee order a re run, and an unsatisfactory start, in the re run no one was going to go around Gavin, he made a fantastic gate and held his line to win the race from the start. With Wayne Broadhurst slipping in behind Gavin it was another 5-1 to the GMB Dons which extended their lead.

Heat 10 B Evans, B Compton, M Wright, P Sharples 65.0 (4-2)(41-22)
This race saw the GMB Dons secure another 4-2 with Matt and Barrie gaining a 4-2 over the Hitmen. Benji Compton did well to split Evans and Wright up, as they looked all set for a 5-1 but Compton managed to find a line through pass Matt to gain the hitmen 2 points.

Heat 11 J Wright, A Cross, M Burrows, C Wright. 62.7 (3-3)(44-25)
This saw yet another fantastic race by the Buxton Hitmens number one James Wright as he shot out the gate with Buzz Burrows. James got the better of Buzz, and as Buzz was trying to do his famous move around the outside, Burrows fell and hit the deck. However Buzz got to his feet and carried on with the race, as team mate Andre cross was lying in 2nd. Buzz continued racing and made up a huge gap and managed to nip in to take 3rd place over Charles Wright.

Heat 12 B Compton, W Broadhurst, A Brown, J Clement 65.4 (2-4)(46-29)
This race saw the Buxton Hitmen gain a 4-2 advantage on the GMB Dons as Benji Compton shot out the gate ahead of Broadhurst and Clement. and with Alan Brown coming in ahead of Clement, the Hitmen pulled off a great heat win.

Heat 13 M Burrows, J Wright, B Evans, P Burnett (No time) (4-2)(50-31)
Mark Burrows pulled off a fantastic win over the very impressive James Wright in this race as both riders shot to the front.

Heat 14 G Hedge, B Compton (T/R) A Cross, A Brown 65.4 (4-4)(54-35)
This race saw taem manager Jack Lee for the Buxton Hitmen put benji Compton out for a Tactical Ride. However Hedgie was all set for this and rode a superb race to hold of the challange from benji Compton to gain the GMB Dons another heat win.

Heat 15 M Burrow, J Wright, B Compton, G Hedge 63.4 (3-3)(57-38)
This race saw Benji Compton and Gavin Hedge out for two races on the trot. Gavin started to look abit tried and Benji managed to hold in for 3rd place however with Buzz beating James Wright the score ended up 3-3 giving the GMB Dons a fine win final score Wimbledon 57 Buxton 38.
